About the role

This role offers a minimum 9-month specialty rotation focused on developing advanced clinical skills in Urgent Care Medicine. The fellow will receive one-on-one preceptorship, hands-on patient care experience, and participate in didactic lectures to build proficiency in managing acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions across all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients
  • Order tests, prescribe medications, and refer to specialists
  • Provide occupational medicine services such as DOT exams
  • Perform physicals for camps and employment
  • Accurately document patient information in EMR

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited PA or FNP program
  • Active board certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
  • State licensure as a PA or FNP
  • Strong clinical competence, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and commitment to continuous learning
