Physician Assistant - General Practice

Role Overview

Provide primary and preventive healthcare services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care addressing medical, social, and emotional needs. Engage in health promotion, patient education, and disease prevention to enhance community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans aligned with patient needs and best practices.
• Deliver patient care in a clinic open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
• Manage an average of 23-24 patients per day.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current, unrestricted PA license in California.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Unrestricted DEA certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical PA experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Additional Details

Employed position with a competitive salary starting at $183,000, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k, CME allowance, vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting to deliver high-quality patient care.
