Physician Assistant Full Time

About the role

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our team in San Diego, California. Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis, seven days a week, with lab and x-rays on-site.

Schedule

• 12 shifts monthly: 8am – 8pm
• Typically 2 – 3 workdays per week
• 9 – 12-hour shifts with pre-approved overtime
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts

Pay

• Hourly Rate: $67–$73
• Hourly Blended rate (with overtime from 9 and 12-hour shifts): $74–$83
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds

Requirements

• Unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• NCCPA Board Certified
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care, or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages
• Comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses)
