Physician Assistant

About the role

Floating Physician Assistant position covering multiple clinics in the Raleigh, NC region. You will provide patient-focused urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management, including review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
• General dermatology and treatment of eye problems
• EKG interpretations
• Emergency management
• General GYN expertise
• Treatment of children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine services

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Schedule

Shifts are determined two months in advance. Clinic hours vary by location:

• MainStreet Clinics: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinics (select locations): Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, or floating assignments.
