Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse rehabilitation needsConduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals and interventionsMonitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize functional outcomes and promote independenceParticipate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skillsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in electronic medical records systemsProvide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process, expected outcomes, and post-discharge care Requirements Qualifications: Actively licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of employmentEligible to work in the United StatesCurrent Controlled Substance License is a plusCurrent DEA license is a plusOrthopedic clinical experience is nice to havePhysiatry clinical experience is nice to haveSkilled nursing clinical experience is nice to have License/Certification: Active NCCPA certification as a Certified Physician Assistant is a plus Benefits Compensation & Benefits: Medical/Dental InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Continuing Medical Education AllowanceMalpractice Insurance401(k)NO AFTER HOUR CALLSign-On Bonus!
