Responsibilities
- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
- Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical assessments
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
- Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment
- Interpret and analyze patient data
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion
- Serve as a leader and supervisor
Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 3 years ER/UC experience preferred)
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice
- DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- DOT Certified
- Urgent Care experience
- OCCMED / WC Experience
