About the role
The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology is seeking academically driven Rheumatologists and investigators to join our growing team. This position supports our mission of delivering exceptional patient care while fostering excellence in teaching, research, and academic scholarship.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of exceptional patient care
- Foster excellence in teaching, research, and academic scholarship
- Collaborate with other disciplines in disease-oriented care
- Participate in the division's clinical trials unit
- Teach and mentor fellows in Rheumatology and Allergy/Immunology
- Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies
Requirements
- PhD, MD/PhD
- Expertise in clinical, basic, or translational research
- Academic appointments will be determined based on qualifications and experience
Qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Rheumatology
- Experience in clinical, basic, or translational research
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
