This full-time role will assist at any of our 11 clinics located throughout Las Vegas and Henderson.

Schedule requires complete availability and flexibility to work any 40-hour shift Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm. Schedule will vary weekly based on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapy Technician

  • Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
  • Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, providing and/or assisting patient into physical therapy apparel (shorts, gowns, etc.).
  • Handles laundry, maintaining an ample supply of clean linens.
  • Records daily notes under direct supervision of and with co-signature by a physical therapist.
  • Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.
  • Assists in treating patients by applying ice or heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as requested by the physical therapist.
  • Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering them to the treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patients on equipment.
  • Ensures operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and communicating needs for ordering.
  • Enhances the physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Collects garbage at the end of each working day.
  • Reports any issues needing resolution to physical therapists.

Patient Care Coordinator

  • Greets patients warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and external connections.
  • Communicates clearly and courteously with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees.
  • Answers phones and greets patients professionally and promptly, returning voicemails the same day received. Maintains an answer call rate higher than 85%.
  • Adheres to HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group.
  • Escalates patient issues and concerns to local clinical leadership and regional front office management.
  • Schedules patient’s initial evaluations and follow-up visits through the plan of care.
  • Proactively answers incoming phone calls before they route to voicemail; triages calls to ensure a five-star patient experience by assisting with appointment cancellations, reschedules, completing intake forms, or taking detailed messages.
  • Assists with scheduling appointments to ensure efficient and timely access to care.
  • Collects 100% of co-pays/deductibles and payments prior to the patient being seen by the provider per established policies and procedures.
  • Schedules new evaluations accurately and in alignment with clinic protocols.
  • During uncovered hours at the front desk, provides support with checking in patients, collecting co-pays, answering and triaging phone calls, and scheduling patients appropriately.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related health field preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, both orally and in writing, in various settings and styles.
  • Ability to communicate honestly, directly, and professionally, building rapport and effective relationships.
  • Demonstrates active listening by asking clarifying questions, identifying and sharing relevant information, soliciting feedback, and giving/receiving feedback objectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and present reports.

Pay

Starting hourly: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour depending on combined experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Requires complete availability and flexibility to work any shift Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm. Schedule will vary weekly based on clinic needs.
