Physical Therapy Orthopedic Resident

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Resident (PTR) to participate in a comprehensive postgraduate training program lasting twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care across diverse diagnoses and settings, implementing and adjusting treatment plans based on current theory and practice, and documenting all care activities.
• Performing patient assessments, evaluations, goal setting, and discharge planning in accordance with departmental policies, and ensuring effective communication of findings.
• Creating a positive learning environment for observers, volunteers, students, and staff, while facilitating educational opportunities and ensuring learning objectives are met.
• Maintaining departmental productivity standards and actively serving patient needs with timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Enrollment in a PT Doctorate program.
