About the role
The Lead Physical Therapist possesses the clinical, administrative, and compliance knowledge to support the management of the physical therapy department. They provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state, and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic physical therapy services.
- Restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders.
- Support the management of the physical therapy department through clinical, administrative, and compliance knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state, and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- 2 years of clinical experience required.
- 1 year of previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.49 to $54.30 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available for qualified candidates. Eligibility and payout terms apply; details discussed during the interview process.
