Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist - Physical Therapy Unit - Full Time 8 Hours Days (9:00AM to 5:30PM) ( Non-Union, Non-Exempt)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Affords assistance in monitoring departmental resources, including staff, equipment, supplies, and space.
• Continuously advances professional development and maintains clinical competency.
• Assesses patients and performs other clinical responsibilities based on developmental perspectives.
• Provides physical therapy services in accordance with departmental standards.
• Involves in clinical education programs for physical therapy.
• Promotes development of staff through educational activities and serves as a resource in the area of specialty.
• Participates in inter-departmental functions as needed.
• Engages in performance improvement activities as part of the organization-wide initiative.

Job Requirements

• Education:
• Minimum (Required): Graduate of PT program accredited by CAPTE or equivalent per California PT Board requirements.
• Preferred (Not required): Work experience as clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
• Experience: Minimum of four years experience with evidence of advanced knowledge/expertise in a specialty area.
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Minimum (Required): Current CA license as a Physical Therapist.
• Preferred (Not required): Successful completion and maintenance of BLS certification.

Pay Transparency

The hourly rate range for this position is $65.49 – 85.95.
