About the role

Community-based orthopedic physical therapy practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide quality, patient-centered care in a supportive outpatient orthopedic setting. We are looking for a self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented professional who is committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and individualized treatment programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations with the Physical Therapist.
• Properly use and maintain therapeutic equipment and exercise machines.
• Set up and break down treatment areas between patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and charting.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Assist with patient scheduling and other clinic responsibilities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists and front-office staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member.
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach.
• Orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Mondays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tue & Thurs: 2:00 – 8:00 PM
• Fridays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay

• $32.00 per hour
