They perform delegated procedures, modify treatments based on patient status within the established plan, and document patient progress. Ensuring safety and addressing age-specific needs, they treat patients and families respectfully, assessing and managing pain per department policies. The role involves identifying and reporting safety issues, providing technical assistance to the Physical Therapy aide, and coordinating departmental workload. Qualifications Requires an associate degree and a valid license from the State Board of Physical Therapy. Entry-level candidates are welcome; American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
