Physical Therapy Assistant - Per Diem

About the Role

Provides physical therapy treatment under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to enhance patient independence and function. Acts as part of the patient care team, respecting patient dignity, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs. Aims to deliver safe, efficient, and positive care experiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust personalized treatment plans based on therapist guidance.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions and assist with evaluations and complex procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to develop programs tailored to client needs.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic records.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and adhere to policies and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean environment and promote confidentiality.
• Engage in mentoring, professional development, and advocacy.

Requirements

• Current MA Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients.
