Student Outcomes

• Maintains and analyzes student attrition and retention data.
• Develops and plans course content and methods of instruction.
• Observes and evaluates students' work to determine progress.
• Encourages the development of communication skills and higher order thinking skills.
• Presents lectures and conducts discussions to increase students' knowledge and competence.
• Administers standardized oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Supervises independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work, or other training as necessary.
• Provides individualized tutorial and/or remedial instruction.
• Assures students are provided support services to maintain the highest level of student achievement.
• Delivers curriculum in accordance with approved syllabi according to program objectives and required contact hours.

Professional Development

• Maintains required credentials and knowledge in teaching field.
• Participates in professional development and organizations to stay updated on current ideas, research, and practices.
• Attends at least one (1) professional development activity annually and two (2) in-service events annually.
• Adheres to College/University policies and procedures.
