Student Outcomes
- Maintains and analyzes student attrition and retention data.
- Develops and plans course content and methods of instruction.
- Observes and evaluates students' work to determine progress.
- Encourages the development of communication skills and higher order thinking skills.
- Presents lectures and conducts discussions to increase students' knowledge and competence.
- Administers standardized oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress and evaluate learning effectiveness.
- Supervises independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work, or other training as necessary.
- Provides individualized tutorial and/or remedial instruction.
- Assures students are provided support services to maintain the highest level of student achievement.
- Delivers curriculum in accordance with approved syllabi according to program objectives and required contact hours.
Professional Development
- Maintains required credentials and knowledge in teaching field.
- Participates in professional development and organizations to stay updated on current ideas, research, and practices.
- Attends at least one (1) professional development activity annually and two (2) in-service events annually.
- Adheres to College/University policies and procedures.
