Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Assist patients in achieving their functional goals through exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in performing exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Administer treatments such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as directed by a licensed therapist.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Licensed Physical Therapist (LPTA).
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
