About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full‑time or part‑time home‑health visits throughout Calvert County, Maryland. In this role you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well‑being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform other activities as requested.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Maryland.
• Graduation from a two‑year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (verified by transcript or diploma) OR two years of appropriate PTA experience and a satisfactory grade on a U.S. Public Health Service‑approved proficiency exam (if initial qualification was before Dec 31 1977).
• At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Pay

Base pay ranges from $43.00 to $51.00 per point, depending on qualifications.
