Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to perform home health visits in the West Baltimore County area. The position involves assisting clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being
• Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Perform other activities as requested

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Maryland
• Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or
• One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist

Qualifications

Pay

Base pay, depending upon qualifications, ranges from $42.00 to $50.00 per point.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate home health visits.
