Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Full‑Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to assess, teach, and deliver therapy interventions under the guidance of a physical therapist and physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures in accordance with the plan of care.
• Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding the care plan.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe device use and rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and discuss patient progress.
• Plan discharge procedures and communicate instructions to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, record observations, and report changes in patient condition.
• Participate in in‑service programs and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license to practice as a PTA.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Strong organization and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in home health therapy and OASIS documentation.
