Physical Therapy Assistant - Bilingual

We are seeking a Bilingual (Hmong) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver person-centered care for older adults. Responsibilities Include Implementing and modifying treatment plans, assisting with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic interventions.Educating participants and families on home exercises, safety, and injury prevention to promote independence.Monitoring participant progress, documenting sessions, and communicating updates to supervising therapists.Maintaining equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and supporting participant transfers.Participating in team meetings, quality initiatives, and supervising students or interns. Qualifications And Skills Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current state licensure or eligibility, with preferred one-year experience working with elderly or frail populations.Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating professionalism, cultural competence, and rapport-building skills.Knowledge of therapy equipment, EHR systems, and adherence to safety and ethical standards. Additional Requirements Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date immunizations.Ability to pass criminal background checks and meet health clearance standards.
