Job Duties
- Aid patients with physical therapy needs.
- Provide services within the scope of practice and in accordance with the plan of care.
- Observe and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the PT or RN.
- Prepare clinical and/or progress notes for each visit.
- Guide patients in using therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function.
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana PTA license required.
- CPR certification required.
- One year experience as a licensed PTA required.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients.
- Home Health experience preferred.
