About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the implementation of treatment plans
- Conducts exercises with patients
- Educates patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation exercises
- Documents patient progress
- Develops individualized treatment plans
- Instructs and assists patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities
- Maintains a clean and organized therapy environment
- Communicates regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Aids in the implementation of discharge plans, including providing patients with instructions for continued care and recommending appropriate follow-up services
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities
- Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest (preferred)
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant, specialized training or certification in specific areas of physical therapy, proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken by patients in the practice area.

Pay
This is a salary-based position, with a guaranteed monthly bonus.
Schedule
There are two schedules available: Monday-Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM).
