General Purpose
The Staff Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.
PTA Responsibilities
- Assists the Physical Therapist with patient care related to physical activities
- Helps residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function
- Encourages and motivates residents throughout their rehab journey
- Documents treatments and resident progress accurately
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care
Qualifications
- Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an accredited college/university
- Valid, unencumbered South Carolina PTA license (Required)
- Experience In a Fast-paced, High-admissions Healthcare Setting Preferred
