Physical Therapy Assistant

Role: Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities Support rehabilitation services for seniors in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.Deliver treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and mobility programs.Improve residents' strength, balance, and functional mobility.Document progress in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Educate residents and their families about treatment plans and progress.Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications & Skills Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and resident care protocols.Strong documentation and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within a team-focused, compassionate environment.
