Description Of The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Neulife Rehabilitation of Louisiana as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing personalized treatment plans for patients, as prescribed by the Physical Therapists
• Provide hands-on therapy treatments and exercises under the guidance of the Physical Therapists
• Maintain and clean therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Teach patients and their families proper techniques for performing exercises at home

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Louisiana
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
