Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Provide attentive one-on-one therapy services for residents, administering functional treatments that emphasize a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
• Advocate for resident needs and preferences, ensuring they are met through rehabilitative services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan care strategies.
• Utilize innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Average work week of 40 hours.
• Associate’s of applied science degree in area of discipline.
• Current license in state of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of senior health and wellness.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation equipment and technology.

USD $30.00 - USD $37.00 /Hr.
