Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support rehabilitation services for seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.
• Deliver treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and mobility programs.
• Improve residents' strength, balance, and overall function.
• Document progress in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Educate residents and their families about treatments and care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams to coordinate care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified Physical Therapy Assistant credential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for seniors.
• Attention to detail in documentation and resident education.
