Under new ownership, we feature an in-house therapy team with smaller daily caseloads, all new equipment, and a focus on optimizing time with patients. Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Maintain expected productivity and efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
• Monitor therapy services to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement as needed.
• Maintain patient physical therapy records by documenting resident’s progress and daily notes.
• Generate revenue by recording billing information for services rendered.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
• Keep therapy equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
• Uphold the physical therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.
• Enhance the physical therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Pay

From $35.00 per hour.
