Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs Outpatient Clinic supports patients in rebuilding or maintaining their physical wellbeing after illnesses, injuries, or aging-related issues. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, document treatments, and collaborate with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with neuro/musculoskeletal movement disorders and skin integrity problems following an outlined treatment plan
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to execute a treatment plan for each patient
• Document all treatments and note any status changes
• Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource for others
• Offer the best care possible to every patient

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in the State of Arkansas
• Completed a Physical Therapy Assistant program and successfully completed a 3-month internship involving hands-on patient care
• CPR Certification is required
