Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans for patients
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Teach patients exercises and techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
