Physical Therapy Assistant - Acute Care

Responsibilities

• Aid in the implementation of new programs and procedures.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance treatment programs.

Treatment

• Execute physical therapy treatments as directed by a physical therapist.
• Provide home instruction and assistive equipment as needed.

Patient Care

• Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Communicate and perform in a highly professional manner to inspire confidence.

Requirements

• Two-year college degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Three months of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• New York State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Skills

Education

• PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

Pay Range

$22.60 - $32.00 per hour
