About the role

We are hiring for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have weekend and flexible day and evening availability. The Physical Therapy Aide provides necessary services within the Physical Therapy Department to achieve efficient operation and maximize appropriate utilization of professional staff. Performs assigned non-professional functions. Physical Therapy Aides assist the professional staff in the provision of direct patient care within the parameters established by the State Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains rehab services equipment.
• Assists in the Rehab Services office.
• Assists in the upkeep of the Rehab Services Department.
• Assists therapists and therapist assistants in patient treatment.
• Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborates with other caregivers/staff, within and outside the department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• CPR certification required
• High school diploma/GED (Required)

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent life experience is required. Experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

Salary Range: $16.55 - $21.70/Hourly. As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
