About the role
The level I Physical Therapist works under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine and level II and III Physical Therapists.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients' needs following disability, injury, disease, or amputation.
- Plan treatment programs and administer modalities and other related procedures, under the prescription of the patient's physician.
- Provide treatment in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.
- Document and communicate all necessary information to all appropriate parties.
- Care for patients in all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center, as required.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Follow standards of performance for Physical Therapy as established by all governing bodies.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 4-year/Bachelor's Degree
- Post Graduate Degree (preferred)
- Licenses: OK Physical Therapy License (New graduates must take the exam within 3 months and receive full licensure within 9 months)
- Certifications: BLS
