About the Role

This weekend PRN Physical Therapist will work inpatient Medicare Part A evaluations for our skilled nursing facility. Join an amazing in-house team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through compassionate care and innovative programs. As a Physical Therapist, you’ll provide exceptional services within Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care residents. This role fosters a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of records for patient care on personal caseload.
• Correctly report billing information for Physical Therapy services.
• Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Report and interpret treatment results.
• Develop and present in-services for the facility as requested.
• Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
• Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility, Medicare, and company policies.
• Assess transfers, gait, and balance as required by patient functional mobility, providing assistance from minimum to maximum levels.
• Perform manual manipulation, including pushing and/or pulling of patient body parts and limbs.
• Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
• Assist with community education and public relations activities of the facility when appropriate.
• Maintain a high standard of resident care and respond immediately to all crisis calls for assistance.
• Actively participate in in-services, department meetings, and continuing education.
• Provide education to patients’ families and staff on treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Coordinate and cooperate with other staff members to carry out established treatment plans.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (minimum requirement).
• Approximately 10% sedentary tasks and 90% physical tasks as listed.
• CPR certified.
• Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area for your therapy profession.

Pay

$42 - $65 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible weekend scheduling, working either one or two days per weekend with consistent hours available.
