Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in need
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient care activities and progress in medical records

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in manual therapy techniques
• Skilled in patient education and counseling
• Knowledgeable in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation

• Gallipolis, Ohio - 15 minutes away across the Silver Memorial Bridge
• Huntington - Approximately an hour south for additional dining, shopping, and entertainment
• A skilled nursing facility setting with waterfront views and convenient road access via U.S. Route 35
