Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Jeffersonville, IN where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, develop and modify treatment plans, document in the medical record, and support patient and employee safety practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Indiana Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• No new graduates.
• Minimum recent clinical experience as required by client (client requires experienced clinicians).
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, perform functional outcome documentation, and write letters of medical necessity.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to discipline-specific therapy staff and to participate in student education as assigned.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education per State Practice Act.
