Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with common SNF equipment and procedures, such as transfers, gait training, therapeutic modalities, and documentation in electronic medical records
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience treating geriatric populations preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
• Active state Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment in Kansas
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
