About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Fairbanks, AK, within an outpatient manual therapy practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on/manual therapy services to post-operative, neurologic, and pelvic patient populations.
  • Manage caseloads of 45-minute 1:1 patient sessions, aiming for approximately 50 patients per week.
  • Work within an EMR system (Prompt) that includes AI features and auto-dictation.
  • Adhere to a flexible schedule of 5x8s, 4x10s, or 9x80s, with no weekends.
  • Operate independently within a clinic with other physical therapists on staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Alaska state PT license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred, including hands-on/manual therapy skills.
  • No pediatrics required.
  • Caseload management experience consistent with 45-minute 1:1 patient sessions and productivity expectations near 50 patients/week preferred.
  • Ability to work within an EMR (Prompt) that includes AI features and auto-dictation.
  • No new graduates. Travel teams or PT pairs not accepted.
  • Candidate must be willing to work independently within a clinic that has other PTs on staff.
