About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Shelbyville, KY providing home health services where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

  • Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
  • Conduct evaluations, develop home exercise programs, and deliver skilled in-home interventions.
  • Document patient care using common home health documentation systems and electronic medical records.
  • Travel within an assigned geographic caseload and reliably provide patient visits in home settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Experience with common home health documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to travel within an assigned geographic caseload and reliably provide patient visits in home settings.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license recommended for travel between patient homes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
