About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Shelbyville, KY providing home health services where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Conduct evaluations, develop home exercise programs, and deliver skilled in-home interventions.
- Document patient care using common home health documentation systems and electronic medical records.
- Travel within an assigned geographic caseload and reliably provide patient visits in home settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Experience with common home health documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to travel within an assigned geographic caseload and reliably provide patient visits in home settings.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license recommended for travel between patient homes.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
