Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide hands-on physical therapy to help patients regain mobility and strength
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document progress and communicate with patients and their families

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Qualifications

• Experience in physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Full-time pay is provided during travel assignments.

Schedule

Travel schedules vary based on assignment needs, but typically last 2-6 months.

• Riverton, Wyoming offers access to outdoor recreation and regional landmarks in a smaller city setting.
• Sinks Canyon State Park is about 8 miles southwest of Riverton, and Boysen State Park is about 30 miles north with boating, fishing, and hiking opportunities.
• Downtown Riverton sits near the Wind River Heritage Center and the Wind River Casino, while Lander is about a 30-minute drive for additional dining and access to the Wind River Mountains.
• The city is also within driving distance of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, making it a practical base for clinicians who prefer mountain scenery and weekend road trips.
