Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Lake Hopatcong, NJ where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
• Experience treating general orthopedics, post-surgical patients, workers’ compensation, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases preferred.
• Willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed.
• Meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; experience with double-booking follow-up visits preferred.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey state license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• New graduates will be considered. First-time travelers are acceptable.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; experience with double-booking follow-up visits preferred.
• Willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed.

Pay

• Primary Rate Type: 8-hour day schedule.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
• OT (overtime) must be approved by director prior to working OT hours.
