Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Point Pleasant, WV where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in home health settings.

Responsibilities

• Create plans of care and perform patient evaluations in home health settings.
• Deliver treatment to patients in home health settings.
• Assess patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Travel within assigned coverage areas, including Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's acceptable if combined with required experience.
• Active WV Physical Therapist license or compact license valid for practice in West Virginia prior to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience creating plans of care, performing patient evaluations, and delivering treatment in home health settings preferred.
• Assessment skills preferred.
• Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas, including Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health settings is preferred but not required.
• Must have a current active WV Physical Therapist license or compact license valid for practice in West Virginia prior to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
