About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
- Manage caseloads that include transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL retraining
- Document patient progress using common SNF documentation systems and EMRs
- Assist with assistive device training and fall prevention programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active New Hampshire PT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required
- Prior SNF experience managing post-acute care and long-term residents preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs, electronic medical records experience preferred
- Prior travel PT experience and experience with assistive device training and fall prevention programs preferred
Qualifications
