Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions
• Manage caseloads that include transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL retraining
• Document patient progress using common SNF documentation systems and EMRs
• Assist with assistive device training and fall prevention programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
• Active New Hampshire PT license required to start the assignment
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required
• Prior SNF experience managing post-acute care and long-term residents preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs, electronic medical records experience preferred
• Prior travel PT experience and experience with assistive device training and fall prevention programs preferred

Qualifications
