About the role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Wasilla, AK at an outpatient manual therapy practice where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Treat post-operative, neurological, and pelvic patient populations.
- Provide 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions.
- Work within a clinic team that includes other PTs on staff.
- Meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Alaska PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience treating post-operative, neurological, and pelvic patient populations preferred.
- Comfort and experience providing 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions preferred.
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR or similar documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week preferred.
Qualifications
- No new graduates.
- Prior outpatient manual therapy experience required.
Skills
- Comfort and experience providing 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions preferred.
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR or similar documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week preferred.
