Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Wasilla, AK at an outpatient manual therapy practice where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
• Treat post-operative, neurological, and pelvic patient populations.
• Provide 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions.
• Work within a clinic team that includes other PTs on staff.
• Meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Alaska PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience treating post-operative, neurological, and pelvic patient populations preferred.
• Comfort and experience providing 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions preferred.
• Familiarity with Prompt EMR or similar documentation systems preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week preferred.

Qualifications

• No new graduates.
• Prior outpatient manual therapy experience required.

Skills

• Comfort and experience providing 1:1 patient care with 45-minute sessions preferred.
• Familiarity with Prompt EMR or similar documentation systems preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week preferred.
