About the role
Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Fairbanks, AK. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Experience treating post-operative, neurologic, and pelvic populations preferred.
- Comfortable working in an outpatient manual therapy practice setting and collaborating with other on-site PTs.
- Meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week.
- Work flexible shifts including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 9x80s.
- Use EMR: Prompt (includes AI functionality with auto-dictation).
- Collaborate with other PTs on staff at each clinic.
Requirements
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Alaska PT license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- No new graduates. Minimum clinical experience required; outpatient/manual therapy experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to comply with business casual dress code (jeans allowed on Fridays; no scrubs).
Qualifications
- No pediatric caseload.
Skills
- Experience with 1:1 patient care and 45-minute treatment sessions.
