Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Schedule follow-up visits and re-evaluations every 30 minutes.
• Schedule new evaluations for 1 hour.
• Expect to see at least 12 patients during an 8-hour day per therapist.
• Support patient flow with an aide in the clinic.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA.
• Active State License is required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and patient education skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.

Full-time pay is provided.

Schedule

Travel assignments are typically 6-12 months long.
