About the role
Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing work in the Edison / Piscataway, NJ area.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Experience using WebPT EMR preferred.
- Ability to manage a patient caseload with a culturally diverse adult population.
- Experience working with limited-English-speaking patients is preferred.
- Willingness to split the role between two clinic locations approximately 15 minutes apart.
- Minimal same-day floating between sites may be required.
- Occupational Therapist candidates must hold a PAM (Physical Agent Modalities) certificate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient (OP) experience required. This must include direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Full days scheduled at each of two locations approximately 15 minutes apart.
- Clinic operates Monday–Friday with typical daily coverage between 8 AM and 7 PM.
- Minimal floating between sites on the same day.
- Large adult Indian patient population. Many patients speak Hindi and use translation tools for communication.
- WebPT EMR used.
