About the role
Join our travel Physical Therapist team in Wasilla, AK, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other PTs on staff.
- Work in an outpatient manual therapy practice.
- Meet productivity expectations of approximately 50 patients per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Alaska Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- No new graduates.
- Prior outpatient and manual therapy experience required.
- Experience working 1:1 patient sessions with 45-minute treatment times preferred.
- Experience with cases including post-operative, neurological, and pelvic patients preferred.
- No pediatrics expected.
- Comfort working within a clinic that uses Prompt EMR (includes AI functionality with auto-dictation) preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum experience: No new graduates.
- Must be able to work in an outpatient manual therapy practice and collaborate with other PTs on staff.
- Travel teams or PT pairs are not accepted.
Schedule
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule options: Flexible (no weekends) — 5x8s, 4x10s, 9x80s.
