Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Needham, MA, providing home health care where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• evaluate functional status and systems for CMS documentation
• develop PT plan of care
• provide evidence-based treatment to relieve pain and restore/maintain function
• document progress notes per policy
• communicate changes to nursing and physicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle for patient visits
• Experience in home health settings, with emphasis on post-acute hospitalization and assisted living populations preferred
• Ability to work autonomously and onboard quickly preferred
