Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Fairbanks, AK. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with other on-site PTs.
• Meet productivity expectations: approximately 50 patients per week.
• Work in an outpatient manual therapy practice setting.
• Willingness to comply with business casual dress code (jeans allowed on Fridays; no scrubs).

Requirements

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Alaska PT license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• No new graduates.
• Minimum clinical experience required; outpatient/manual therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with 1:1 patient care and 45-minute treatment sessions.
• Experience treating post-operative, neurologic, and pelvic populations preferred.
• No pediatric caseload.
